Check Them Out
Heritage Farm Visit
The four year old classes each year in the fall visit Heritage Farm to explore all the animals and other exhibits.
Students invite their grandparents for a special presentation each year which also includes a special snack and gift for grandparents as well as an opportunity to take a picture with their grandparent(s).
Community Helpers Week
Each year visitors from the Huntington Fire Department, West Virginia State Police, Huntington Police Dept., nurses, construction workers, etc. visit our classes so that students learn about various careers and the world around us.
Fire Prevention Parade
For several years now, EPPP has participated in the Huntington Fire Prevention Parade. Students learn about fire safety during the week and participate in the parade with their families as a cumulative event.
This year we decided to have a trick or treat party during school hours. Students were learning various items such as Day of the Dead, Pumpkins and Jack-o-Lanterns, and all things Halloween. Students and parents alike really enjoyed getting dressed up and spreading some holiday fun.
Cookies With Santa
Cookies with Santa is a much loved event at EPPP. Families enjoy coming together to socialize, take a photo with Santa, play, and create a craft all while wearing their favorite pajamas.
This is one of our biggest events of the year. Parents and teachers begin preparing for this spring event in January, and the event becomes larger each year. The carnival is such a fun event for families, but is it is also one of our largest fundraisers of the year. We cannot wait to see you this year!
Students invite their parents for a special look into their day and their year, and the students' hard work is celebrated. We look forward to this event every year.
